Wer meint Classic Metal sei angestaubt, der kennt Obsidian Black noch nicht! Die fünf Rocker aus der Ostschweiz vermengen geschickt ihre musikalischen Einflüsse aus den frühen Achtzigern mit eigenen Ideen zu einer aufregenden und melodiösen Heavy Metal-Mixtur. Classic Metal zu spielen ohne abgedroschen zu klingen. Das ist eine Gratwanderung, die Obsidian Black mühelos gelingt und sogar Lust auf mehr macht. Doch wie ist das möglich? Die Antwort ist simpel. Alle Musiker haben New Wave of Britisch Heavy Metal im Blut, sind damit aufgewachsen. Stampfende Drum- und Basspower, lustvoll arrangierte Gitarren- parts, harte Riffs und ausdrucksstarke Vocals verleihen den Songs ihren Facettenreichtum und die moderne Kante. Was will man mehr? Obsidian Black präsentieren sich damit als organisches und authentisches Metalkraftpaket mit origineller Mucke. Mit ihrer neuen EP "Judgement Day" festigt die Band ihren Ruf als ambitionierte, vielseitige Schweizer Heavy Metal Band und ist ein wuchtiger Beweis dafür, dass mit Classic Metal immer zu rechnen ist!

Welcome to the official MEzzIAH Facebook site. MEzzIAH from Eastern Switzerland have been active since November 2015 and have left a lasting impression on the Eastern Swiss rock scene right from the start. With their atmospheric sound, which combines dark, melancholic melodies and hard rock riffs, the band has manifested their independence from the start. On the demo EP "MEzzIAH", released in 2016, the band is multi-faceted and passionate. With their varied downer rock, they always succeed in inspiring the listener. Far away from the hyped retro-rock bands and everyone else who sails under the flag of hard/heavy/rock, the band reflects on the spirit of the original hard rock music of the 60s/70s as the basis for their own sound.
